Q1:	What impedances do the EBS bass heads operate at?
	All EBS heads operate at 2-8 ohms except some early HD350:s that operates at 4-8 ohms (check the back panel of the bass head).
Q2:	What impedances do the EBS cabinets have?
	All EBS cabinets are 4 ohms except for the Neo-110 and Neo-112 cabinets that are 8 ohms and EBS-610 that is a 3 ohms cabinet. The large EBS-810, EBS-412 and EBS-215 cabinets are also available at 2 ohms on request. Keep in mind that two 4 ohms cabinets needs an amp that handles 2 ohms and two combined cabinets should have the same impedance for best result (for example; two 4 ohms or two 8 ohms, not one 4 and one 8 ohms cabinet).
Q3:	The HD350 head, for example, is rated at 350 watts output. What will be the output at 2 ohms with two cabinets connected to the amp and what would be the output at 4 ohms if I use only one cab?
	The continuous output power would still be 350W, even if you load the amp with one or two 4 ohms cabinets. One difference though, the total peak power increases by nearly 20% if you load the amp down to 2 ohms.
Q4:	All EBS cabinets have two 1/4" jacks and two Speakon connector inputs. How should I connect the speaker to an amp?
	The four connectors are connected in parallel, so it is a choice of Speakon or 1/4" jacks, although the recommended connector is the Speakon. The link jacks are for linking to additional cabinets if the amp head is not equipped with more than one speaker output.
Q5:	What is the EBS 9V Phantom Power System and how does it work?
	The EBS Phantom Power System™ is a powering system that is built into EBS Fafner, EBS-HD350, EBS-TD650, EBS Gorm and the EBS Active Cabinets. This makes it possible to remove the battery from an active bass and get the power from the amp instead by using a stereo cable. This feature can also powering any 9V EBS pedal. The Phantom Power feature can not power a chain of pedals, so if you are using more than one pedal in a chain we recommend using the EBS AD-9 power supply with a split cable, such as the DC-6. The phantom power does not harm passive instruments.
Q6:	Will I damage my EBS head if I use it without a cabinet; for example in a recording situation?
	You may use any EBS bass head without speaker load, i.e. no speaker connected. There will be no damage to the unit whatsoever.
Q7:	Do the EBS pedals use true bypass?
	Some EBS pedals do and some use a different technique called Active Silent Switching. This technique works similar to True Bypass as long as the pedal is powered and let you switch the pedal on and off while maintaining the tone without any unwanted pops interrupting the sound. Which one using True Bypass or not is stated in the technical specifications for each pedal.
