Tomas Näslund - Blindside For the last 5 years it has been quite silent around this band in the US where they had their big break with the 2002 album 'Silence' and the follow up 'About A Burning Fire'. Since the last album, 'The Great Depression', recorded in their home country Sweden, they have explored new land and played in 5 different continents of the world, including tours with Linkin Park and AFI and some of the biggest festivals in Europe. Due to a label dispute they were not able to release the album they had planned for 2007, but instead of giving up the band have now collected 5 years of writing music to record the album that will take them back to the top - re-uniting with Grammy-nominated monster producer Howard Benson in Los Angeles. The result of 5 years of blindside writing new music will be surfaced in early 2010 and we are all excited to hear the result! Be ready!
