Victor Bailey - Bass Legend

Victor Bailey can be heard on more than 1000 recordings and has worked with as diversed artists as Sonny Rollins, Miriam Makeba, Mike Stern, Weather Report, Zawinul Syndicate, Steps Ahead, LL Cool J, Mary J Blige and last but not least, Madonna who he toured with during the 90's. His public breakthrough probably came when he replaced Jaco in Weather Report back in the 80's, and he has been a great inspiration for bass players all over the world ever since.

In 1989, he released his first solo album, "Bottom's Up", which was an instant bass classic. Since then he has also released two more solo albums "Lowblow" (1999) and "That's Right" (2002). Victor is one of the most soulful bass players in modern time, and a true legend.

Here is what he has to say about his coming back to EBS:

"In our search for our musical selves, often times we travel to the far ends of the universe, only to end up back home.EBS is home. Simply the best bass amps in the world!" - Victor Bailey, July 2009
